I am a Photographer & Content Creator now based in Austin, Texas.

I’m originally born and raised in Minnesota, but decided to ditch the cold winters for beautiful year-round Texas weather! I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a major in Marketing and Business Analytics.

My very first memory of holding a camera goes back to when I was about 7 years old. I was given a turquoise blue digital camera from my parents on my 7th birthday. I was so obsessed with it that I took it out everyday and made my little sister model for me. Until one day I left it outside during a thunderstorm, it got destroyed, and I thought my photography dreams were crushed.

Eventually, I rediscovered my passion for photography in high school and picked it back up after saving enough money from my serving job to buy a Sony camera. Ever since then I genuinely fell in love with photography - it quickly became my new favorite hobby.

When I’m not behind the camera, I love spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and traveling around the world. This past summer, I was fortunate enough to backpack Europe for over two months with 4 of my good friends. My next travel bucket list is to backpack Asia and travel to the Philippines where part of my family is from (I’m half-filipino)!

I created Elise Artistry out of a passion for social media marketing, photography, content creation & strategy, and the desire to help businesses grow. I am constantly being inspired by other entrepreneurs/creatives. I am eager to learn new skills and challenge myself to new experiences!
