Acai Bowl Launch Project
Background
Crisp & Green prides itself on delivering fast, casual, and healthy meals to its loyal consumer base. Traditionally known for its nutritious salads and grain bowls, the brand decided to expand its menu to include a new, trendy craving; Acai Bowls.
In April of 2022, we collaborated with Crisp & Green to help take this idea from concept to reality. For the campaign, we focused on marketing to consumers demanding fresh and convenient food to support their busy, well-ness-driven lifestyles. To appeal to this consumer and bring Crisp & Greens' idea to life, we assisted in all stages of product photography; styling, editing, and retouching, to capture the ingredients in their most authentic form.
Inspiration
In order to match Crisp & Green’s branding, we aimed to create photos that were vibrant yet clean. Throughout this process, we collaborated with the brand's art director to make this vision come to life. We utilized brightly colored backdrops, using a white photo sweep, to emphasize the fresh and colorful produce. The key to the success for this campaign was to highlight new product offerings while maintaining Crisp & Green’s consistent brand image.
Our vision followed a mood board provided by the brand, to follow specific design criteria and color schemes
Journey
We began by shooting the ingredients individually. The fresh produce was framed on a white background with strobe lighting. This method allowed for ample quality control and consistency.
Flat Lay Images
In addition to flat lay photos, we styled the same ingredients using toothpicks and styrofoam to allow for 3D photoshop.
We then edited the raw images into this final shot of the Acai Bowl advertisement.
This process required an understanding of studio lighting, camera software, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, color management tools, and awareness of image and style standards to uphold the C&G Brand across its mobile app and e-commerce website.
These steps were repeated for multiple bowls to maintain quality control.

Final Product
Final images were used for various marketing efforts across channels. The Acai Bowl campaign was utilized for in-store and digital add promotions. The graphics showed are posted on Crisp & Green’s Instagram story to introduce the product launch. Additionally, these graphics were used as print ads throughout the store.
Throughout this project, our vision remained true. Together, we managed to introduce new product offerings while maintaining consistent branding. This content reaches 35+ nationwide stores, maximizing its messages across multiple platforms. More recently, we followed up with creative partners for project feedback.
