Acai Bowl Launch
Background
Crisp & Green prides itself on delivering fast, casual, and healthy meals to its loyal consumer base. Traditionally known for its nutritious salads and grain bowls, the brand decided to expand its menu to include a new, trendy craving—Acai Bowls.
In April of 2022, Elise Artistry collaborated with Crisp & Green for its new product launch. For the campaign, we focused on creating brand awareness and marketing to its current consumer base - consumers demanding fresh and convenient food to support their busy, wellness-driven lifestyles. Elise Artistry assisted in all stages of product photography; styling, editing, and retouching to capture the ingredients in their most authentic form. These images were used for various marketing efforts across all channels.
Inspiration
To comply with Crisp & Green’s brand, we aimed to capture images that were vibrant, yet clean. Throughout this process, we collaborated with C&G’s art director and marketing director to make this vision come to life. The key to success for this campaign was to highlight new product offerings while maintaining brand transparency and consistency in its ingredients.
Our vision followed a mood board provided by the brand, to follow specific styling and lighting.
Journey
We began by shooting the ingredients on a seamless white backdrop to emphasize the fresh and colorful produce in the images. Each ingredient was individually styled and shot using a tripod and strobe lighting to help capture texture, contrast, and depth. This method allowed for ample quality control and consistency.

In addition to flat lay images, we styled the same ingredients using toothpicks and styrofoam to allow for 3D imagery.

We then edited the raw images of the ingredients into this final shot of the Acai Bowl advertisement.
This process required an understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, color management tools, and awareness of image and style standards to uphold the C&G Brand Standards.
These steps were repeated for each Acai Bowl.

In addition, Elise Artistry captured product photography for Crisp & Green’s new product offerings.
Application
Final images were used for various marketing efforts across all channels. The launch of the Acai Bowl campaign included in-store and digital ad promotions. The graphics showed were featured on Crisp & Green’s social and paid media channels to announce their new menu item launch. Additionally, these graphics were used as print ads at in-store locations.
Result
Throughout this project, our vision remained true. Together, we managed to introduce new product offerings while maintaining brand transparency and consistency. This content reached over 35+ nationwide stores, maximizing its messages across multiple platforms.
